The Origin
Niya was built by a lonely boy.
His name is Rachid Et-Taibi.
He arrived in Europe as a toddler from a culture where community was not a philosophy.
It was the air you breathed.
In Europe he found something different.
Individualism celebrated as a lifestyle.
Doors closed.
People alone together.
He did not fit.
Not because of anything he did wrong.
Because of what he carried.
So he built a world internally.
A place where he could be completely himself.
Where belonging was not conditional on anything except who you genuinely were.
Without knowing it, that was the first version of Niya.
It took forty years to build it for real.
His inner universe was always calibrated. He simply had the circumstances that forced him to listen to it before the world could bury it completely. Niya exists so that nobody has to wait forty years to hear theirs.
