ETTAI Comm.V. is the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
When you submit the waitlist form on niya.life, we collect the following personal data:
Your first name and email address. These are required. We use them to identify you, to send you a personal response when the Niya door opens, and to manage your position on the waitlist.
Whether you were nominated by an existing Niya member and, in one sentence, what brought you to this page. These are optional. If provided, we use them solely to understand the context of your interest in Niya and to personalise our response to you.
We do not collect any other personal data. We do not collect payment information, location data, or any special categories of personal data as defined in Article 9 GDPR.
We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent, given at the moment you complete and submit the waitlist form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at rachid@niya.life. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
Your data is used exclusively to contact you personally when Niya membership becomes available to you, to respond to your submission with a human reply where relevant, and to maintain our waitlist and assess fit with the Niya community.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. Every response and assessment involves a real human being.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data for advertising of any kind.
Your data is stored on servers operated by Hostinger International Ltd., our web hosting provider, which processes data on our behalf as a data processor under a data processing agreement. Hostinger’s infrastructure is located within the European Economic Area.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or analytics tools. We do not use any email marketing platforms. No third party has access to your personal data other than Hostinger in its capacity as hosting provider.
niya.life uses only the technical cookies set by default by WordPress, our website platform. These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function correctly. They do not track your behaviour, build advertising profiles, or share any data with third parties.
No analytics cookies, marketing cookies, or third-party tracking cookies are used on this site. No cookie consent banner is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable Belgian and EU law.
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to manage the Niya waitlist and onboarding process. If you are not admitted to Niya or you withdraw your interest, we will delete your data within 12 months of that determination. You may request deletion at any time by contacting rachid@niya.life.
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data: the right to access the data we hold about you, the right to rectification if your data is inaccurate or incomplete, the right to erasure in the circumstances set out in Article 17 GDPR, the right to restrict processing in the circumstances set out in Article 18 GDPR, the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR, the right to object to processing under Article 21 GDPR, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Access to your data is limited to the founder of Niya and is not shared with any employee, contractor, or agent beyond what is strictly necessary.
Niya® is a registered trademark owned personally by Rachid Et-Taibi in his personal capacity, independently of ETTAI Comm.V. All content on niya.life, including but not limited to text, design, structure, and copy, is the intellectual property of ETTAI Comm.V. and is protected under applicable Belgian and international intellectual property law. Unauthorised reproduction or use of either the trademark or the content is prohibited.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. We will notify waitlist members of any material changes by email.
